Liana wears multiple hats at SIT but primarily serves as SIT’s Knowledge Manager. She also manages SIT’s digital content and is the Account Manager for SIT’s Affiliates.
Regardless of whether her work is with a client, on social media, or for internal purposes, she helps to develop and maintain SIT’s proprietary knowledge, promoting SIT both internally and externally. Her work spans writing case studies, digital blogs, supporting client projects, spearheading internal projects, providing internal support, and conducting research, among other things.
Prior to SIT, she worked in a law office for five years, helping recover money for hospitals. She has a strong orientation to the application of innovation in social wellbeing and disaster management. She has a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from Tel Aviv University with a specialization in disaster management and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Florida.
Liana’s strong interest in nutritional and culinary matters is reflected strongly in her extensive travels to exotic regions and a personal travel blog she has maintained to describe her exploits. Liana enjoys working with her hands, whether it’s in the garden as a plant mom, creating macramé fixtures for her home decor, or making vegan ice cream and homemade granola. Not surprisingly, she is a vegetarian and also a trained Yoga instructor.
